  Complètement vintage et décalé, ce groupe franco-américain est composé de 3 copains. Ce trio offre un savant mélange de pop électro, de poésie indie-rock et d'un flot hip-hop, le tout boosté par des guitares tapageuses.
  
  

  Naive New Beaters, le groupe du moment !! NNBS (les gens un peu trendy disent comme ça) pratiquent un subversif mélange de pop électro dynamitée au rap et aux guitares stridentes, comme une sale bagarre entre Gorillaz, Ratatat et Eddy Murphy...2009 est l'année de la consécration pour ce trio qui enregistre en studio leur premier album. Internet avec le redoutable clip de leur single Live Good, bourré d’idées et de technologie nonchalante. En 2009, et après des passages remarqués en première partie de la tournée des Kills fin 2008 (en France comme en Angleterre), des dates à NY ou Mexico, on retrouve les Naive New Beaters avec un premier album tout simplement épatant. Le disque s’appelle Wallace (ne cherchez pas à comprendre c’est comme ça), et a été enregistré en compagnie de Clive Martin, puis mixé à Londres par le redoutable Nick Terry, déjà à l’œuvre sur les disques des Libertines, des Klaxons, ou encore de Simian Mobile Disco.

   

   

• Acid Washed

   

  

  "Acid Washed is a two-man process primarily, deteriorating sound amongst souvenirs, friends, home studios and analogue equipment. 
  
  The result is a fusion of late nineties filter house and DFA disco anthems that acknowledges the influence of Chicago and Detroit without being overly reverential. Throw names like Steve Reich, Giorgio Moroder into the hat as well if you like, but don’t dwell on them. Cosmic tunes for the party tonight. 
  
  Collaboration is the key to Acid Washed; the list of big-name players involved is set to run and run. Labels and artists involved currently: Xaver Naudascher & Gavin Russom (Death From Abroad/Supersoul/DFA), Christophe Chassol (Sébastien Tellier, Phoenix), Christian Kreuz (Get Physical), Arnaud Rebotini/Blackstrobe, Turzi (Record Makers), Lippie, Barbara Panther, Alan Gay, King of Kong (Max Skiba & Artur 8).

• youANDme

   

  

  youANDme is a project of Martin Mueller and Daniel Stroeter and both live in Berlin / Germany. They work as DJs and producers since 1995. Both love the deeper side of music with many funk and soul, but every time raw and kicking. The structure of a youANDme set is very different; they like to play several styles in one set like house, techno, dub or electronica. And they love records that have their own structure and character, because both hate it to mix boring tools for several hours. Thats why they always search for new and innovative stuff.
  
  They have published their tracks and mixes at labels like Rotary Cocktail Recordings, Ornaments, Cocoon, Dekadent Schallplatten, Compost, Platzhirsch, 2020Vision, Snork, and many others
  
  A next step was the establishment of an own label and therefore youANDme created ROTARY COCKTAIL REC, POLYMORPH and 2 mysterious secret labels.
  
  2009 was a successfull year because youANDme published some nice records and one highlight was the licencing of Mark Broom vs. Brothers Vibe: "Mind/Feeling" (youANDme Edit) to Sven Väth his "The Sound Of The 10th Season" live mix at Amnesia DVD (Cocoon Mix 027).
